| Intolerance? #42 by Joseph Prescia The unreligious left has been yelling for tolerance of their ungodly. They lust for the acceptance of homosexuals and lesbians as an alternative lifestyle. They want good, wholesome Christians, Jews and other religious men and women to support this or risk being labeled as intolerant even if it means compromising our beliefs. And yet they are not “tolerant” of our Christian beliefs. Hypocrites! The unreligious left wants to promote disgusting art as freedom of speech. They want Christians to be more understanding and support more of the disgusting weirdness of society like hanging condoms on a clothesline in a Boulder, Colorado library as art. They want to continue to bleed us for more money in taxes to support Socialist causes. They will not say that they are for higher taxes but they will claim that “we have to do more for the poor.” They ARE for higher taxes! Don’t ever let them hide this reality. And yet we have seen that for over 50 years of their “tax and spend” doctrine America has not improved the so-called social injustice. Why? Because there is no social injustice, just individuals lacking in personal responsibility. People are not poor because they lack money but because of the way they think and act. We’ve seen congressmen cower because of public opinion. We’ve seen them become wimps when opportunity knocks to do something great. Fear has held them back. They are afraid that if they do not perform a certain way they will not be re-elected. Rather than stand for something greater than themselves they look to mere man for their standard. A true man of God does not compromise in what he really believes in. He is relentless in his pursuit for what is right and just. He cares little or nothing at all about public opinion as long as it lines up with what God desires. He gets his information from the written Word of God, the Bible. He seeks God’s view first and foremost. He is not afraid to say things that are contrary to public opinion. When he says something he means it. When he makes a promise he keeps it. He is intolerant of what God is intolerant of. He would rather get praise from God for eternity than to get praise of men for only 80 years. Praise God for the man of God and that more will be there to fill the need. |
