God Can Heal You Right Now

There are two things I would like to share with you:
1. That God is very able and powerful
2. You can receive healing from God right now

Our God is a very powerful, loving and able God. He is our Father, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He is in our midst right now, at this very moment. He put the stars, the sun and the moon in the heavens. There is no situation in your life that is too big or too small for Him. He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten son when we were in the worst spiritual condition that we could be in. He did this when we were dead in trespasses and sin, without God and without hope. When we were in that dreadful situation, God's love reached down to us here on earth to give us hope, to make us spiritually alive once again through His son, Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (KJV)

From God's perspective we WERE healed, past tense. Why? Because Jesus Christ has accomplished this FOR us. Why then are people sick? Why are people suffering when God has made this available to us and for us? Because many people do not know what they have received from God through Christ. If you don't know that you have money in the bank you cannot spend it. If you don't know that Jesus Christ paid the price for your health and prosperity you cannot enjoy the benefits of it.

3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (KJV)

God's heart goes out to us and says, "I wish above all things that you are prosperous and healthy." That is the will of God. This is a priority with God because it says He wishes it above all things. God promises health. His will is that you are delivered from any bondage of sickness. You deserve health, not because of your works but because Jesus Christ legally paid the price for you to have it. The Devil tries to talk people out of it. He tries to convince people that they have to earn salvation, earn God's righteousness, and earn God's healing. The Devil tries to remind people of their mistakes, recalls their sins to their remembrance, yet all the time Jesus Christ has a paid receipt in his hand, so to speak, having paid the price for all the sins of mankind, past, present and future. That's why it is so critical to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead. The book of Romans tells us that when we do that, we are saved, and we are made righteous because of what Jesus did on our behalf. We accept the cleansing of sin, our righteousness, by simply believing what God says.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJV)

Verse 9 says that we are "saved." That word "saved" means "made whole." That's a lot bigger that just physical healing. Healing is just a small part of being made whole. Wholeness covers going from being dead in trespasses and sins, without God and without hope, to being made spiritually alive, casting all sin on the back of Jesus Christ, all mental burdens wiped away, all financial burdens and all emotional burdens can be given to God because we are completely cleansed, spiritually, through the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We once again have dominion given back to us here upon earth. The Devil no longer has a legal right over us when we make Jesus Christ Lord in our life. By our freewill we decide to enter into the kingdom of God. With that decision comes all the rights and privileges we have as sons of God. Righteousness is one of those rights.

Jesus Christ said the works that he did we can do also (John 14:12). What kind of works did he do? He taught the Word of God, he healed the sick, he cast our devils and he raised the dead all in a days work. We can do the same works that Jesus Christ did. If you think that this is out of your league then you have not believed God at His Word. Look at what it says in the Gospel of John.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (KJV)

He said the works that he did we can do also. Did Jesus Christ doubt that God was able? Did he wonder, "Well maybe this healing is too big for God to handle. Maybe I'm really not the son of God." No!!! God is able. Jesus Christ believed God at His Word and walked out on the promises God made to him. Today, we are sons of God. We have the ability of God in Christ in us to perform the works that Jesus Christ did. When it says that I can do the works that he did, I believe God at His Word and I just do it.

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: (KJV)

You see it's Christ in you. It's Christ in you! You can perform the works that Christ did. He's in you! You have ability through Christ. If you needed to walk on water today you can. If you need healing because you are sick you can get healing right now! You can be healed right now because it is God in Christ in you at this very moment. While I am speaking to you in this teaching, right now, you can be healed of any sickness and any disease. Why? Because it's Christ in you. You are whole.

Psalm 103:1-3 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; (KJV)

When Jesus was here upon earth, which we can read about in the Gospels, he healed ALL manner of sickness and ALL manner of diseases. People received deliverance because they EXPECTED. Expect to be healed right now! Expect to be delivered from the bondage of the Devil. There is no disease that is too big for God. Our God is able. Our God is a powerful God. He created the heavens and the earth. He raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Don't you believe He can at least heal you? It is ALWAYS His will for you to be delivered. God doesn't want you to be sick. If God wants you sick and since Jesus Christ ALWAYS did the will of the Father, then why didn't Jesus Christ make people sick? Because it's devilish teaching to say that God wants you to be sick or He wants you sick to humble you. Jesus Christ ALWAYS did the will of the Father and he healed people.

Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. (KJV)

Christ knew he was going to die. He transferred that right to heal, that power, that authority to others so that it wouldn't die with him. Our God is the Lord and He changes not (Malachi 3:6). If He wants you to be healed 2000 years ago He still wants you healed today. He gave them power against unclean spirits, against devil spirits. He gave them power to heal ALL manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Well, what about cancer? What about AIDS? What about heart disease? Are those too big for God? Maybe the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the same God who created man can't figure out how to heal these people? Do you see how silly that sounds? God heals right now.

There's a record in the book of Daniel that shows that God is able to deliver. If He is an able God for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and He does not change, then He is just as able for you and for me. These three were about to be thrown into the burning fiery furnace because they refused to bow to the golden image set up by King Nebuchadnezzar. They refused to bow to circumstances set before them.

Daniel 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. (KJV)

They believed that their God would absolutely deliver them. They knew that God was able.

Daniel 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. (KJV)

They refused to be afraid of the circumstances surrounding them. There have been circumstances in our lives that we have bowed to, rather than making a commitment to God to deliver us out of it. We don't bow to circumstances. We have dominion on this earth. We have one true God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

Daniel 3:19-20 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. (KJV)

The king did not believe in the same God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Daniel 3:23-26 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. (KJV)

The king changed his thinking by calling them the "servants of the most high God." Just a few moments before he was so angry that he threw them into the furnace. "The most high God" delivered them because they believed God at His Word. They refused to bow to the circumstances of a burning fiery furnace. We cannot forget that our God is able to deliver us no matter what circumstances we are faced with.

We have this written Word to believe today. God says he wishes above all things that we may prosper and be in health (III John 2). God says that He shall supply all our need (Philippians 4:19). God says that we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). God doesn't take these words lightly and neither should we. If He says it He means it.

That's why you can be healed right now. You can heal the sick right now. You can cast out devils right now.

Some wise people have said that if you want to be successful then copy someone who is successful and you will be successful. If we copy the normal pattern that Jesus Christ operated when he healed people in his walk when he was here upon earth we find that he didn't necessarily pray for the sick. He HEALED the sick. He also taught others to heal the sick. He didn't tell them to pray for the sick. Look at what Jesus told them to do.

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (KJV)

He didn't tell them to pray for the sick. He said, "Heal the sick." He didn't say, "Pray for the devil spirit to leave." He said, "Cast out devils." He taught the believers a direct command. We don't need to tell God to heal the sick because God says in this record, "Heal the sick, cast out devils..." That's our job. His job was to provide the savior that made this available.

If you want to be successful then copy someone who is successful. Jesus Christ and others in the Gospels and in the book of Acts operated holy spirit utilizing the following 4 points in over 90% of their healings:

1. They taught the Word of God first. They told of God and what He could do for people.
2. The sick strongly desired healing and went to a healer for deliverance.
3. They didn't pray for the sick. They healed the sick right then and there.
4. Both the person ministering healing and the sick believed to receive deliverance.

We are not to be afraid of what to say or to do when we minister healing. The spirit of God can work in you as you act on God's Word. Jesus taught that the holy spirit would give us the words to speak as we act. We are not to be afraid. We are God's children. We have Christ in us, the hope of glory. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Matthew 10:8 says that YOU are to heal the sick. That's exactly what they did after Christ's ascension into heaven and after the day of Pentecost.

Acts 3:1-8 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. (KJV)

They KNEW that they were able to heal because they KNEW that God was able to heal. Peter, John and the lame man believed God at His Word. They didn't cling to the circumstances of the man's sickness; instead they healed him.

When that burning fiery furnace was lit they didn't believe the circumstances, they believed God at His Word. Cancer is a circumstance. Disease is a circumstance. We are not to bow to circumstances. We are to believe that God is able to deliver right now. You can get healed right now as I teach you about what God can do. Right now, you can be healed in the name of Jesus Christ!

Let's live the next years we have left on this earth with dignity for the one true God completely delivered. Let's rise up to believe God at His Word. Let's heal the sick right now. If you believe then you can also minister to yourself in the name of Jesus Christ. Expect big and you shall receive according to your believing.
